If YOU’RE listening.

Pathetic You’re a long way away to be so knowledgeable about Trump and US politics. Nothing original just mouthing the party line. I don’t think you’ll find US media arrogantly commenting on Australian politicians. Dig a bit deeper and comment on the disgraceful performance of the US Democratic Party. Even you can make headlines with some of that behavior exposed.

FAR Left Rhetoric

I consider myself left of center and even for me this podcast is so far left, rationality is questioned. I’m also not American but even I’m taken aback by how anti-American the rhetoric is. If you’re into that kind of thing, then this is the place for you but even as a lefty, it’s too much for me. I prefer unbiased news.

From the Outside Looking In

I always try to find an outside perspective to take a hard look at our country — America. And this podcast is as good as it gets. Matt Bevin does a great job of looking back at all the craziness that was the Trump presidency. If you’re just stumbling onto this in November of 2021 it is still well worth your time to go back and listen to every episode. First rate.

Invaluable

It is often said that those with a foreign perspective can be more objective than those who are mired in the daily mix. That clearly applies to Matt Bevin’s podcast, one of MANY great programs on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, affectionately known by most as simply “The ABC”. These podcasts pack a powerful punch in a quick amount of time with very powerful information that I wish more American voters were aware of. Given how busy most lives are, I think this is especially effective because these podcasts are relatively brief, entertaining, impactful, and can fit into the time it takes to do dishes, fold laundry, etc.. Spread the word.

Anti-Russian Propaganda

This podcast presents an extremely biased, one-sided view of Russia. Each episode is aimed at disparaging both Russia and Putin’s reputation. There is no real objectivity from the host, and there is little to no engagement with the various other sides of this debate.

Excellent summary of Trump’s situation

I listen to many American podcasts about the political situation here in the U.S. When I saw this podcast, I wondered what it would look like to someone from another culture. I have probably learned more from this podcast than from all the other ones put together. Maybe it’s so good because the contributors are explaining things simply to a mostly Australian audience who don’t understand the American system. Whatever the reason, I am hooked and will probably binge the rest of the episodes this week. Excellent work. Well done!

This is a great podcast. Start with episodes 2, 3, and 6 if you’re unsure. Well sourced, accurate, nice dry wit, and delightful (and horrifying) to listen to.

They do a great job of explaining the history of the characters of the Russia investigation. I love the way they drill down on the cast of characters individually. Each character's history w/ Russia and the way they overlap other character's history is fascinating.
