    Biosignals and belly laughs
That was a lame title but embodies my love for this podcast. It’s hard to believe that a podcast on reproducible/open science could make you laugh out loud (for real, not when you are texting it to a friend with a completely straight face) but IT DOES. The loving banter between Dan and James makes me want to be their friend. Listen to this podcast, you’re welcome.

    Worth listening
An often hilarious, always interesting conversation about science. The discussions about science itself are always fascinating and the guests are great. The hosts, James and Dan, are pretty good. James has a very “comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable” vibe and Dan... is his handler?

    Makes some good points
There are some fine insights about statistics and methods here. And most of the occasional guests are great. Unfortunately the two guys are often arrogant jerks so listening to their random chatter can be painful. Eventually stopped listening when the stupidity became overwhelming.

    Engaging and real
I am so happy someone mentioned this show on Twitter. I've just gone back and listened to a handful of old shows and subscribed. The discussion covers real challenges of working in research by two people in different situations. I appreciate the way that they discuss how to approach work, what is worthwhile, expectations in the research world, and academic integrity. Keep up the good work.

    witty
casual but motivated and smart conversation about the academic science world. I'm not a scientist but enjoy listening because I am interested in scientific epistemology and professional gossip
