Found this podcast because of Jerry Cantrell’s interview and now I’m hooked. Love it!

Matt Stocks is that guy you want to know and be around. He is passionate, enthusiastic and brutally honest. Matt loves music - all kinds of music - and if you are around him for any length of time you get sucked into his passion and energy. Life in the Stocks is the embodiment of all of those qualities and then some. Matt is not a fanboy or star stalker. When he interviews his guests, you can feel a sense of comaraderie and equality which is a rarity in the music world of interviews and podcasts. The questions are well researched and the admiration of his artists is genuine. Matt and Life in the Stocks is the real deal.

Absolutely fantastic podcast. His style is as once humble and revelatory. It results in some really honest and deep conversations. Love it.

Began listening with the Almighty Tommy Victor interview and now binge listening from episode 1 to current. Informed, well spoken and courteous host with good sound quality and just-right program length. I will be looking forward to future shows!

Every episode of this podcast seriously makes me feel like I'm sitting in the room (or back seat of a taxi in one instance!) while Matt Stocks is doing the interview. Matt has a fantastic conversational style, knows his subject matter and puts his guests at ease from the start. I first did the episodes with musicians I'm most familiar with (Brian Fallon, John Lydon, Laura Jane Grace), and loved each one. The crazy thing is that as I got deeper into the other episodes, including some with musicians I don't know well, every one of them was still utterly entertaining. These are fun interviews with some great stories and occasional deeper insights … Some of the best chats with musicians that you'll ever hear.

Found a link on the Prong Facebook page to the Tommy Victor episode and really enjoyed. Might be my new favorite podcast. Hopefully there will be an Andy Cairns episode soon.

hat a podcast. Im really getting down with these interviews, and the John Lydon one really was next level. Such a great back and forth and some Matt stocks did a grat job putting Lydon at ease and getting him to reeally open up about his life and artistic process. Keep em coming!
