I’ve been listening / watching for quite a few years now. I think this is the best mtb podcast out there. Good mix of content creators, industry folks, businesses, etc…

The host, Rob, has conversations with people that have some connection to mountain biking. Guests in areas I might not have an interest in (powdered drink mixes) often turn out to be the most enjoyable. This is because Rob’s conversational format. It’s an enjoyable podcast and entertaining.

I’ve been listening to Robert for awhile now. Very laid back with his guests and asks some great questions. I’ve learned so much from his guests and have at times based my buying decisions from his podcasts. Haven’t been disappointed yet. Keep up the good work.

Unlike other really long Pods, this one speeds by because Robert is such an easygoing “guy at a bar” conversationalist. I’ve learned a ton about the lives and efforts of MTB creators.

Love this Pod with Robert. Was scared of the episode length at first, but having a 2-hour window allows for a lot of organic discussions that I never expected, and I’m here for it. One of my favorites and always look forward to the next episode!

Old guy here getting back into riding. I learned a ton about the current state of MTB listening to Robert and his guests. Anyone who’s anyone in the field has been on this show. That’s impressive. And I love beer so we’re all good.

I’m an avid mtbiker for 26 years now and I first started listening to Robert back in 2020. I have been downloading and listening to the show for my daily commute of 45 minutes. In the beginning of 2020 I lost my mother to cancer, then COVID hit, and even in the Spring I had to put my furry buddy down, l have to admit I was in a pretty dark place. This is when I discovered podcasts and was listening to a positive mindset one to try to help me out. It all seemed a little to touchy feely for me and while surfing for other podcasts I discovered the B1ker Bar. The positive attitude is like a great riding buddy and he pulled me out the mud of that time and as always is a great pick me up for my commutes to work. I can’t thank you enough Robert. Keep on riding on!

I’ve been a listener to this podcast for a few years, and I have to say it’s the best one I found so far. Robert is charismatic and has a great positive energy which makes the show fun and engaging. He always finds interesting guests and I’ve learned about so many other content creators, organizations and products just by listening to the show. The show feels like a locals podcast for Northern Californians. It’s cool that I now live in northern California and know about a lot of the trail areas that are talked about. Definitely worth checking out!

I ebb and flow with mountain biking passion through the seasons, and during each ebb the B1ker Bar gets me excited for the flow. Always great interviews, and insights from some of the best minds in the mountain biking industry. Keep it up Robert, we’re listening. B1ker podcast is almost as good as the B1ker downieville camps were. Maybe you can work it out with Aaron to throw a B1ker camp at the shredquarters.

This was a great inside look on how things have gone from Pro Rider to a Pro Rider / Creator / Influencer. Great flow of conversation between both people. Great collection of diverse MTB guests. From riders, to company reps to startups. Robert has an RAD perspective and style for interviewing,

He is the MTB podcast king! I love how loose and laid back his chats are. Love listening to them on my drive to work or on my way home. So entertaining.

Robert does a good job of bringing guests in from a variety of biking interests, MTB, gravel, road. The guests he hosts have a deep depth of experience in many fields related to the industry.

I heard Robert say that his podcast was now showing up amongst the best mountain bike podcasts, but I feel like it is THE best. I am a huge fan. They guy does a great job. He’s an influencer. Because of his channels, I have explored Auburn State Recreation Area on many occasions, purchased a hardtail, purchased a Bivo bottle, Prana shorts and pants for riding, RC shoes, started using a hip pack, and gone to many of the Downieville area trails that he’s demo’d or mentioned, and explored the rides in Sedona. BTW, if you sign up on Patreon, he will send you a hand written personalized note. Nice touch. Keep up the good work Robert.

I’ve been mountain biking since the sport began in the eighties. I love the sport and the people involved in it. Rob is one of us. He’s not a professional rider or a professional bike mechanic. He’s a guy just like us who loves the sport. His talent is he can talk to people in the industry for two hours and it never gets boring! He’s truly having fun and the fun rubs off on the listener. I look forward to every one of his podcasts. Two hours just flys by!! I also look forward to his 90 second reviews on YouTube and his adventures. Can’t wait to meet this young man in person and go on a ride with him. Keep up the great entertaining work Rob!!

I’ve listened to dozens of other mountain bike related podcasts, but Robert’s is one of the few that I truly look forward to. He is an entertaining host and he gets great guests. He is also a natural interviewer asking great questions. It is obvious he is experienced enough to know what he is talking about, but not so much that he is untreatable. For instance I’m faster than him on Brewer trail in Sedona.

Long form high quality MTB conversations with really interesting people. He’s fun to listen to and keeps his guests comfortable. He’s a master of leading fun-to-follow chats that start with a solid core, and discover great side-conversations that by themselves are more interesting than other MTB podcasts. Does a great job asking questions that let the guests set context for the audience.

This was a great episode. Talking about your fitness with a guest let alone publicly, is really difficult. I’m very grateful for semi-high profile YouTubers who are willing to share their journey. Awesome!

Robert has great guests and the conversations are interesting. Nothing seems forced and the guests are able to open up. I enjoy listening. This podcast is great for new and experienced riders.

First, I really live the length of these episodes! Second the companies Robert gets and the info is a gearheads dream! Can’t tell you how many products I’ve bought after listening to this pod!

This podcast is awesome! I’ve listened to almost every episode, and it is one of the only ones I listen to from start to finish. Robert is my go-to when I’m wrenching on my bike, going for a long run, or on a road trip. Robert brings on quality guests, and he does a great job avoiding going into the weeds of technical bike talk like a road biking weight weenie. He keeps it in the mountain biking genre, but nothing is off the table when the beers get flowing! This podcast is what you’d expect if it was recorded at a trailhead, post ride, with cold beer. Cheers!

This show is fun to listen to, and I haven’t heard a boring episode yet. Robert clearly has lots of biking experience and yet doesn’t take himself too seriously. Great guests, a sense of humor and a contagious laugh!

Love listening to Robert and his interviews with everyone in the industry! I’m a collision repair tech and listen to podcasts sometimes 6 hours a day while working. It’s always entertaining and great content!

The Definitive podcast for all things MTB. Skip the first episode, it was RANDOM to the extreme and not reflective of the outstanding content and wonderful personality that Robert shares so well!

Good potential for a great show. My only complaint so far is that the word “like” is said entirely to much and it makes it difficult to listen to.
