Approachable for non footballers

As an American, my football is generally that oblong brown ball with a bunch of guys tackling each other to get at it. Down the Pub brings that European feeling that I want when I'm in the mood for learning more about the world's most popular game. The conversational feel and the banter of Anthony and his co-hosts makes for an intimate show that feels just like a couple of guys talking about their favorite sport on a Thursday night at their favorite local watering hole. Even if you have just a rudimentary understanding of the Premier League and the politicking, science, and strategy behind making a great team, Down the Pub remains approachable, well produced, and feels like these are YOUR friends. Special Shout goes to their Episode 84 with Special Guest Kevin Kilbane, as they say across the pond, it was a BANGER. He was tremendously well suited to the show, humble, approachable, and having an esteemed guest like him on the show really made it punch above it's weight class for an indie podcast.
