…but when I do, it’s because the subject deserves it. If you’re an Islanders fan, or a fight fan, or even a casual hockey fan, Coliseum Chronicles is a podcast for you. The host, Joe Lozito, has an easygoing manner about him but the research he puts into these interviews is readily apparent. You feel like you’re sitting at a bar reminiscing about the good old days with two of your best friends, no filters. The honesty of the players is refreshing and, at times, enlightening. The Mick Vukota, Trevor Gillies, Jamie Rivers, and Aaron Asham episodes are particular highlights.

This is a great page if you like hockey fights. I’m not an islanders fan at all and I still enjoy these podcasts.

I don’t listen to many podcasts but I never miss an episode of Coliseum Chronicles!

These interviews are literally GOLD for any fan of the characters of the game in the mid 80’s to late 90’s, especially for Isles fans of the team in that genre. P.S. it’s a different take of the team we love. Not the over told stories of the early 80’s glory years, but the true, 1st hand look of bottom 6, heart and soul players of the team, after the glory years. Highly recommend!!!

Just fantastic! An educated host talking to some of the best at their job. I do enjoy the team theme as well. Especially because Joe has known a lot of these guys for decades.

Joe does a great job on the interviews and does awesome research on each guest. Islanders have had a deep history of toughness and the show is just scratching the surface on these awesome warriors. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for this show!

Host does a great job with research and content and allows the player to tell the story. Felt like I was across the bar listening to hockey history. Can’t wait for more interviews.
