  • my meteorologist beginning
    My starting
I believe that meteorology is special to some people and storm chasing is a big job to take. For me a 10 year old, I was about 6 when I discovered meteorology was a thing. I was watching the weather channel/12 news In Beaumont Texas. I mistakenly thought that the high pressure sign meant hurricane. I told my teacher that there is a hurricane about to hit Beaumont in 3 days and she said, no honey, that stands for high pressure you little meteorologist. When I got home, I asked my mom what a meteorologist was, she told me that it’s someone who study’s thunder storms and tropical storms. Then on, I learned how to read/spell and I checked out library books about thunder storms and tornadoes. Since then I have always wanted to be a meteorologist. Thanks to my kindergarten teacher, I have found my biggest goal, something I want to do, got a degree for, all thanks to my kindergarten teacher mrs. Haily.

    Chaser Chat, it’s all that
Despite Gabriel not having an accent that matches his twitter avatar, this is one of the most interesting weather podcasts available.

    Don’t be fooled!!
Don’t be fooled by Gabe’s seductive voice and exotic (delightful manly) beard; he is more than a pretty face. Gabester can interview with the best of them. Now we shall wait for the Ryan Y’all Hall interview!

    A Weather Enthusiast’s Dream Podcast
Absolutely love Gabriel’s guests, from seasoned storm chasers to NWS employees and tornado researchers— this podcast is so addicting! I feel like I get a different perspective into storm chasing with every episode! Definitely a favorite!!

    Excellent Show
I enjoy hearing the stories chasers tell of during their encounters with natures most extreme weather events. The interviews are more like conversations between two people who share a similar interest, because that’s exactly what they are. They aren’t forced nor vacuous, but rather follow a natural progression up until the end when the same (or similar) questions are asked of most of the guests. And that’s just perfect, because we get to go inside of each chaser’s thought process and learn about different ways to incorporate parameters into our own chase experiences.
