    Poor sound quality
Unlike ECM music, the interviews are recorded poorly and the speakers are difficult to understand. Use lapel mics instead of a bony single room mic. Unsubscribed.

    Sound
I am ECM collector from the start, the highest standard in recorded music. Oddly, these podcasts do not always have excellent quality between interviewer & guests. Sometimes painful to listen to, distortion, etc. Nonetheless, a view into the rareified world of peerless artistry.

ECM is brilliant! Manfred Eicher is a genius!
I love this podcast. I discovered ECM in 1978, and have hundreds of ECM recordings. I am ECM obsessed. I too, would appreciate more frequent podcasts.

    Nice to hear the backstories
It’s a real pleasure to hear the stories behind the newest releases from this classic label. I only wish the sound quality of the interviews matched the pristine sound of the recorded music.

    Wonderful Vignettes….
ECM has been my favorite label since the 70’s. Beautiful music, artwork, and incredible artists! These short vignettes are great insights to some of the artists and their process(es), and feature wonderfully recorded “snippets” of music. As a guitarist, I particularly enjoyed the interview with Jakob Bro (one of my favorite artists). Great little podcast - would love to see it more frequently, and perhaps, in depth… Regardless, thank you!!

ECM has always produced music of excellent quality. This podcast features the artists that make the music.
