    The podcast we needed
This podcast is as informative as it is entertaining! So many good guests with great interviews. The questions are thought provoking and often lead to awesome stories. I love hearing some of the musical giants (and some lesser known stars) that I grew up listening to tell their stories.

An up close look at great Christian metal and rock artists
Joel Walker would seem to have a dream gig. He gets to talk to many of the heroes of the music of my youth. He’s a great interviewer that asks many of the questions I would want to know answers to of many of the fantastic Christian hard rock and metal artists I still follow, despite some of this music being decades old. Keep up the great work and keep the interviews coming!

Great guests, not so great production
Only posting because I hope Joel sees this. I love the guests and the conversations, but the guest’s level is so much lower on almost every episode that it’s hard to listen to. Hope you can get that sorted!

Different in a very good way
Joel interviews so many folks us Christian metal heads grew up with. These interviews aren’t typical generic material. Joel asks original questions. He asks personal questions. He asks questions about the “dirt” for those that have dirt but without it getting gossipy or slanderous. More like pitfalls for listeners to avoid. I haven’t listened to every episode but have thoroughly enjoyed every one I’ve listened to even when it’s a person who I am not familiar with.

Love the interviews with artists I grew up listening to!
Found the podcast via Jamie Rowe on Facebook and I just finished listening to Glenn Kaiser interview. Rez Band was my first ever concert back around 1983 with Daniel Band opening for them in St. Catherines Ontario. It is an experience that still sticks with me nearly 40 years later. And hearing Glenn today with his heart and his passion for Christ today is just awesome!

    Good podcast
Great to hear all these legends interviewed! Joel, sounds like you are a big Neal Morse fan you should try to interview him even if his Christian phase wasn’t in the 90s.

    Fantastic!
As someone who has been a “Christian” metal/rock enthusiast FOREVER, I am stoked that this Joel Walker guy has began the journey of connecting us to these artists. Joel has such an inviting approach to these guys and gals. His questions are illuminating, and truly leads to fantastic stories. I am hooked, and look forward to each episode. I hope he keeps them coming!

    Great and can get better
I love the in depth interviews and it is great to hear the testimony and history of these icons in the business. My only complaint has to do with the inexperience with the host by assuming information about guests (producing leading questions) and comparing his personal experiences to the answers of the guest. I love the common questions he asks each guest. This really helps listeners connect to the guest in a common way. Keep up the great work.
