1224NoYesNoNew format neededSorry but it sounds like your co-host at the end of each podcast is so bored or at the least not at all up to speed to pop culture like Nick is, which makes for awkwardness. Also, for the good of mankind, please have your movie reviewers review popular mainstream movies people actually watch instead of movies that played for a day at a festival.

MohawkchildsmomThis episodeNick, while you are entitled to your opinion and to talk how you want on your podcast. I seriously wish you would stop mocking and making fun of Christianity. Just because you do not know anything about it and what you might know is based on media coverage doesn’t mean you should cutting anyone down or making fun of them. You presuming a movie is going to be a “train wreck” just because of the people being “crazy” is just wrong. You considering someone is crazy because of their beliefs is wrong. I do not think people are crazy because they do not believe the same way I do. Judging people base on their beliefs is you not being open to other view points. While there are lifestyles I do not agree with doesn’t mean I make fun of them or not like them. I do like you podcasts both of them, and look forward to listening, every week. Thank you for the podcasts and for the good work Kristie

DJ StinkyStop with the Effin’ Jingles! The show opener is good, but too many jungles is a bad thing especially when the jingles go on and on and on. Maybe a few bars that match the show opener, to establish continuity between segments or guests. Even 5 seconds is painfully too long and wack-a-doodle..

DFcartmanEnjoy listening to Nick DI’ve been listening to Nick’s podcasts since the first episode. Listen to each episode every week.

DanDadRockHost loves himself too muchI used to be a fan back when he was kept under control at WGN. Here, it’s Nick unleashed and it’s a bit much. Not to mention the fact that he plugs his own events way too much and often. It’s clear he’s not in it to entertain, but to promote. I listen for the movie reviews but not much else, since I think that’s his forte.

chrismeades20Self-congratulatory hostHe plays a song called “Congratulations” and it should be directed at himself. Yes this is the Nick D podcast, but all it is from beginning to end is an exercise in patting himself constantly on the back. Over and over again he plugs the same event even in the midst of interviewing a guest. It becomes comical to hear how much he loves himself and his events and his opinions. What’s funny is that he’s often full of hatred of such trivial things like movies too. It’s just sad that someone like this exists and has a platform, contributing nothing but the same lame jokes, stories and self-absorbed promotional material. It’s all about him, him, him even since he left WGN and what’s worse, there’s nothing new here to get excited about. Even his co-host Esma sounds bored and unengaged. Not sure why he hasn’t moved on but I would move on and far away from the Nick D Podcast ASAP.

Rojo TorrenceNick’s ReviewsNick, I’m not sure who coddled you into thinking otherwise, but movie reviews are subjective not objective. I can sense your very nice co-critics bristle at your self-righteousness. It’s unprofessional and frankly, annoying to listen to.

El ChonkolonkoSo happy to find Nick!I loved briefly in Chicago, 2002-2003, and I feel in love with WGN radio and really enjoyed Nick Digilio. He was definitely a really enjoyable part of my weeks. He is just naturally fun to listen to and is a nice guy. I long since moved away from Chicago, but those memories are so with me and I look forward to enjoying his podcast now.
-
BjreginWrong about Chris Von ErichIn your movie review of the Iron Claw Nick you are so wrong about Chris Von Erich. He was 100 pct a Von Erich brother. Lance Van Erich was the fake Von Erich who was playing Fritz nephew. MJF filmed the role but was cut in the Final Cut.
-
Mike from Crown PointLove Nick D!Big fan of Nick’s for more than 20 years. So happy to have this podcast without all the junk we/he had to deal with when he was on WGN. Especially love the episodes that feature Erik and Steve, and Dan Fienberg. Thank you, Nick!

Idiot nickYour masters episode from children.I listened to the latest of the actual idiot that hosts this. You and you guest were a joke. It’s hard to take idiots seriously when they don’t have the ability to have an “ADULT” conversation w/out (that means “without”) you highly educated idiot.
-
CharliebigredAn amazing biweekly podcastIf you liked Nick on terrestrial radio, you’ll love the podcast. It’s like the energy of first hour of his radio show combined with the insanity of the 6th hour of Nick filling in for Steve and Johnnie. Plus swearing and Esmeralda.
-
John from MKEBest movie reviews!Movie reviews are the best in the world.

-
MissileChicagoNick D horribly boring!Just when you think this guy couldn’t get it any more boring. Even though he no longer works for WGN, he somehow still carries that unfiltered lackadaisical old guy in the young guys body view of entertainment and social issues. Favorite shows geared towards people who might know who he was when he worked for WGN, but what he doesn’t realize is these podcasts go out to a larger audience who have no clue where he came from and he doesn’t know how to tailor his shell in that manner. It makes for a very on interesting and quite Snoozy podcast.

-
Hockeymm11YayI loved Nick for political free fun and content. My kids and I listened to the WGN podcasts in the car. No more. To me F-feats are as uninteresting as political content. Canceled my Patreon also

bill touchGreat to have nick back in the airwgn’s. Loss. Great to have Nick back. Missed my connection to back home. One of the great things about the show is talking about tv . I just learned that all the Harold Lloyd shorts are on HBO max. Just a throw away comment on the show. But very valuable to me.

ADD1369The return of an old friendIt’s so great to have Nick Digilio back in my ears. I, like many, we’re so bummed when he was let go from a certain formerly awesome radio station in Chicago. His show is better than ever with many of the old segments from his radio show and old friends/guests. So if you are a fan of Nick or even just pop culture and like to have a fun listen, this is the podcast for you.
-
Miles HortonNick D PodcastOUTSTANDING! OMG! I needed to hear this. I needed that theme song! The Nick D formulation of „UNbeleivable“! I needed those movie reviews and Steve and Eric! I will be back for more!!

Macomb DorieEven better than on the radioLike listening to Nick at night on the old station, but BETTER because there are no commercials. And, if I drift off to sleep I can go back and listen to it again. Words can’t express how much I’ve missed Nick D on the airwaves. Wonderful to have him back! Esmeralda is a very welcome addition to the show.
