RAKGBAnother great podcast from History ExtraI just finished listening to the excellent episode about NewYork and thoroughly enjoyed it, even though I knew the history. I must say, though. The thing you simply must try here is a freshly made bagel - boiled, baked, and hand rolled. You'll never taste one like it anywhere else. Thanks for the great podcast!

Cleveland madeEuro-centric but okay!Eh very euro-centric a little disrespectful considering there’s the rest of the world out there. But pretty good!

ChimayoPressSurprising, informative and practicalThis exceptional BBC series should perhaps be titled “Great European Cities” since all eight episodes- so far- have been European cities. Overlooking both the more familiar Amsterdam and London, the producer includes Oslo and Budapest. The consistent format sounds dry - invite a prominent city historian to summarize a city’s history and offer a few tips for modern travelers- yet becomes rather entertaining and quite informative. As both a Covid armchair tourist and experienced world traveler, the series has proven an enjoyable, first-class podcast for this American eager to see more of Europe- and more of the world. Will the next season include Tokyo, Jerusalem, Shanghai, Seoul, New York, Moscow, Amsterdam and even London? Let’s dwell in the possibilities.
