    Fascinating, Educational, & Thought-provoking
Eileen is such a wonderfully talented person, and you can tell how knowledgeable and passionate she is about her subject matter. I find it difficult to get absorbed in most podcasts, but this is soothing and familiar. It reminds me keenly of radio dramas I listened to as a child. I am thrilled to have found something that is both intellectually stimulating and culturally enlightening

    My favorite podcast
This whole podcast is a real joy. The stories are well-researched and well-curated, and the way they are told is engaging without being pedantic or cute. And Eileen Budd’s voice and performance are pleasing to the ear, natural-sounding, simple and unaffected. The stories are well-written and tight. I love the visual images I get from listening, and the free run of associations this podcast sparks in me. Thanks so much for giving us this gem!

    Wonderful stories
I love all the stories and folklore. Some are completely new to me. Others feel familiar but I don’t know why they would. When you said Clan MacLeod dreams of horses are good, and one way to do divination was to close your eyes walk through the house and open them and what you’re looking at can then be interpreted I pretty much can’t walk through the house without seeing horses. I only recently found out my Clan MacLeod heritage. So lots of tingles finding that out. Keep up the great work!!!
