I am a new listener and a big fan! This podcast has a wonderfully warm, conversational tone that is essential for me in podcasts. I want to feel like I’m listening in to a conversation of close friends who are genuinely interested in hearing what the other has to say, and WHSW provides that in spades. The topics are well-researched without ever feeling overly familiar or intrusive toward the subjects (these are all real people, after all). And the hosts are just really charming and funny! What more could you want?

Super entertaining stories told as if Laura and Tom are in my living room talking like old friends. They make it fun to learn about creepy stories that stir my imagination and freak me out. Cant wait to hear what they uncover next!

Tom and Laura have a fun dynamic as co-hosts and their subject matter is interesting. A lot of paranormal/unexplained stuff shows cover the same topics over and over, and I wouldn’t mind if they hit a famous event here, but I really like that so far it’s been fairly obscure topics that I hadn’t heard about!

Super pumped Tom made a new podcast. A couple of other podcasts in my weekly rotation ended recently and this one will be a welcome audition. I already foresee a “weird news” segment in the future I’m excited for!

This podcast is aptly named because it feels like a casual conversation between me and two friends talking about weird stuff. I love it. So great to be able to hear Tom in another podcast and Laura is great so far!

Laura and Tom deliver the goods! Whether or not you’re into this kind of stuff, they provide an entertaining listen and an endearing entry point into the unexplained.

Tom is a long time podcaster and you would think Laura has been around just as long. I loved the short series a few years ago, looking forward to having more come from these two.

Highly recommended if you’re a fan of unsolved mysteries but want to hear about them with a skeptical eye and a fun tone. Laura and Tom have great chemistry and I actually learned some things!

Big TCGTE fan and was so excited to hear more from Laura. I loved the Laura episodes when Tim was on paternity leave. Maybe you all are going to take turns telling an event? But this first episode left me wanting to hear more from Laura and maybe some more out there speculation? It got a little boring with Tom reading from the broadsheet. Keep at it! Can’t wait to hear from you two.
