Always loved Dentaltown

I have known Howard since 1985. He has always seen dentistry from a macro view. He also understands the pulse of the dental business so well. While most of us just plug away every day, Howard can see how a simple thing modifying your work hours or just raising the price of certain procedures or increasing your speed or monitoring what procedures bringing what profits ….and tweaking those metrics can dramatically increase your production. He’s also a master of statistics and knows the percentages of the business very well. More than anything else he has an exceptionally good sense of humor and can keep you laughing while you’re learning. It’s no wonder that he is risen to such fame. Best wishes to him! Farran is truly a great host, but he lets everyone and their brother come be a guest. It’s really hard to identify what’s accurate vs pseudoscience

I’m listening him over 2-3 years and I loved the way he interacts with guests every time, it’s truly uncensored and he doesn’t fear to ask difficult questions. Lot of times he repeats same information that’s very very useful for listeners, specially your fresh or few years out school. One of the best out there. I wish you very long healthy and happy life.

I’m a 38 year old dentist from south Florida with 2 big practices under my belt, but with the pearls that i get from your podcast i feel like i can catapult my business to the next level. Howard interviews all the leaders AND new comers in dentistry with no bs, nothing to hide and nothing to sell. Just great info, great interviews and uncensored no bs. If your going to listen to ANY podcast in dentistry this is where to start!

There are some really interesting and informative guests on this show but Farran spends far too much time interrupting them to talk about himself. If you can weed through his tangents and repetitive rants you will learn a couple things each episode.

I love this podcast. It helps me to plan for the future and provides unique, realistic perspective on issues facing dentists. Plus, I always laugh out loud when Howie cracks jokes.

I love listening to Howard on my morning drive to work. I can’t imagine starting and running my dental practices without learning so many dental pearls from this podcast. I truly believe Howard cares not only about the profession but also about his “homies” and their well being. Keep up the good work, I definitely appreciate it.

This podcast is awesome! Howard Farran is very candid and not afraid to ask the controversial questions. I love this show because it has really challenged me in how I think and practice especially the business side of dentistry. There are many times that I find myself laughing at Howard. Howard Farran is one of the hardest working men in dentistry. He has always given more then he receives. His podcast is just another example of how much he cares about our profession and understands what dentist of every age are experiencing day to day.

No matter where you are in your dental career, Dr Farran has an episode for you. He’s been an outspoken advocate for sole practitioners for 3 decades, and is one of the smartest, most dialed in dentists in the biz. Love his irreverent style. He’s pretty funny too...and an all around good guy. His podcast never disappoints.

Great podcast and sssoooo much useful information. A great variety of topics relating to the practice of dentistry; both clinical and practice management. Usually two one-hour podcast per work day. If your dive is less than an hour each way then listen to them at 2x speed or pick your favorite. Highly recommended podcast with no BS.

Wow, thank you Howard and team for all that you do for dentistry. You bring up the questions that lot of us want to ask but don’t always ask candidly and boldly. I’ve listened to every single podcast, and some multiple times. I’ve played them at my team meetings. Incredible amount of information that is relevent in an easy to listen to format.

I find a lot of value in these podcasts. Dr. Farran has a lifetime of tips, hints and insights that he freely shares on these podcasts. Definitely worth the time to listen to these podcasts.

Having recently graduated from school I feel overwhelmed and keep looking for things to fill the holes in my knowledge. Howard's podcasts have been fantastic! They have given me a new perspective on the industry and helped me take off my dental school blinders. I love them because he talks about the entire history of the industry with those who progressed through it, the focus of practitioners now and then brings in those like Gordon to talk about the future of dentistry. I love it! I’m addicted. I now feel like I have a thumb on the pulse of the industry.

Dentaltown podcasts are awesome! I make a conscious effort to listen to them everyday. They have increased my knowledge base tremendously in all aspects of dentistry and the business side of the profession that is not taught in dental school. I appreciate Howard Farran's candidness and his commitment to have enlightening but difficult conversations that most people would not consider having openly. By the way, they are hilarious! Great mind break from those stressful working days.

I love listening to this podcast on my daily commute. Variety of dental subjects covered and some really well-known guests…. and the pace at which Howard has been able to pump out these interviews per week has been incredible… a few comments/suggestions if you’re reading this Howard. 1. Can you please let your guests talk and finish their sentences? We want to hear more from the guests!! I know your main audience is supposed to be the 3rd and 4th year dental students, but they can always google the most basic of the dental terms later… the interruptions have been no good for the show, I would say. Let the guests speak to the audience what they want to say please. 2. Your energy level and enthusiasm have been great.. but that 242nd episode with Edward Carlson was refreshing! I really liked your mellow tone and the general feel of the show. Easier on the ears too. 3. Can you please find other ways to advertise the next Townie meeting at the beginning of the show? I don’t know whose voice that is… but it’s so poorly done it makes me cringe.. I’m sure others feel the same way?! Sorry for all the nagging complaints. I really appreciate the education and entertainment you provide. Really really. :D Happy holidays.

Howard have The Best Informative, Brain-Boosting Podcasts, every dentist should listen too !

I have listened to about 50 of these podcasts and can't wait to hear more. Two are released everyday so I always have a choice of what topic interests me, and with over 200 episodes, I can always go back and hear an old episode when I am caught up. Best part is, Howard is freakin hilarious!!!
